now: what to do in Lisbon this march

Rescaldo Festival – Rescaldo is the portuguese word for corollary and it is also the name of one of the most interesting music festivals of Lisbon. Until the 6th of March, some of the local venues host concerts from the most unclassifiable musical projects, such as Clothilde (modular synths), Sei Miguel (jazz) or Banha da Cobra (percussion), just to name a few;

Monstra Festival – in its 21st edition, the Lisbon Animation Festival pays tribute to Bulgaria with a special programme dedicated to this country and its animation cinema. This festival that takes place in several cinemas of Lisbon from the 16th to the 27th March, also shows, for the first time, works of Egypt and Pakistan in the international competition.

Poetry Day – on 21st March starts Spring and it’s also World Poetry Day. In Portugal, as we consider ourselves a country of poets, we take it very seriously… in Lisbon, Fernando Pessoa Museum hosts a series of FREE events, including lectures and a guided tour at the house Pessoa lived his last 15 years.
